This year saw Architecture Week coordinators pull together over 800 events across the country, engaging thousands of people through an incredibly varied range of activities. After a lively launch event with over 600 guests (and including a speech from founding-patron Janet Street-Porter), it was excellent to see the programme expand beyond the main sustainability theme, to also embrace a number of fascinating regional strands.
To quote our patron Tom Bloxham:
"If Architecture Week 2007 can trigger everyone involved to consider
the relationship between the built and natural environment, it can
only be deemed a success."
Thank you for supporting this ambition, and we hope that you have enjoyed the week as much as we have. Thank you to Junk Bunk Ltd waste removal service
