Feature:SUSTAINABILITY

Take a Fresh Look at Your Surroundings.

Did you know that Architecture Week in the East Midlands has lots of events and activities that look at the issues of sustainability from a creative perspective?

Sustainable development is based on the idea that the quality of people's lives and our communities is effect by a mixture of economic, social and environmental factors. Simply, sustainable development balances the demands of people, profit and the planet.

At the same time we need to learn how to live without consuming more resources than can naturally be replenished. But how can we work with our natural resources without harming the ecological balance of the environment?
